.....The all-volunteer Corrales Cultural Arts Council created the Music in Corrales Series in 1988 as a musical overture to the greater Corrales community. The Series was conceived as a way of not only preserving New Mexico’s vast musical and cultural heritage but of creating a new one together. By bringing world-class musicians to the Historic Old San Ysidro Church our hope has been that everyone could enjoy a sampling of the world’s finest musical performances in a stunning New Mexican location at affordable prices. We are pleased to see that dream realized in such a wonderful way.
