N.M. WOODWIND QUINTET

Drawing its members from many fine musical organizations in the state, the New Mexico Woodwind Quintet has a tradition of significant performances. Tonight the quintet will feature founding member Lori Lovato, clarinet, Melissa Peña, oboe, Carol Redman, flute, Toni Lipton, bassoon, and Kurt Civilette, horn. Among the selections are pieces by Mozart, Haydn, a Scherzo by Eugéne Bozza, and Canyon Light, written for the quintet by Michael Mauldin. Seasonal music will include Allegro con Spirito di San Niccolo for Wind Quintet by Harold Schiffman.
